(1) Meteor Wind Radar                                                                                                 

Meteor flux as functions of time of day, height, and angular position, meteor entrance velocity, hourly  horizontal (EW and NS)  winds in the 82-98 km. It also provide ambipolar diffusion coefficients,daily averaged temperature around 90 km.


(2) Partial Reflection Radar                                                                                                 


Provides wind information from 60-80 km


(3) Rockets 

       (a) RH-200 rocket  Provides wind information from 25-65 km
    (b) M100 Russian rocket Provided Wind and Temperature data in the 10-80 km height region during 1970-1993


(4) GPS based Radiosonde, Ozonesonde and  Frost Point Hygrometer

     

Provides winds, temperature, relative humidity, dew-point temperature, ozone concentration   measurements from surface to 35 km
